In this article you'll design a custom certificate and assign it to a Beeline.

The Custom Certificate Builder lets you create personalised certificates that recognise your learners' achievements. You design the certificate, add fields that fill in automatically for each learner (their name, the Beeline name, the date, and more), and assign it to a Beeline.

Where to find it

Go to Admin → Content, open the Manage tab, and select Certificates. This is the home for all your certificates — where you create new ones and edit existing ones. (You can also reach a Beeline's certificate from its Settings in Build Mode once certification is turned on.)

Design your certificate

  1. Upload or start fresh. Upload your own certificate (PDF only) to see it previewed, or start from an empty template so you can place exactly the fields you need.
  2. Add fields. Click the T (text) icon on the left and choose the fields to include — for example Learner Name, Organisation Name, Date, Instructor Name, and Beeline Name.
  3. Position each field. Click to add a field, then drag and drop it wherever you want it on the certificate.
  4. Save. When you're happy, select Save (you can also download a copy).

💡 Pro tip: Start from an empty template rather than a finished PDF — it's much easier to drop the auto-fill fields exactly where you want them than to work around a fixed design.

Your existing certificates are listed on the left; select one to edit it at any time.

Assign it to a Beeline

When you save, you'll be asked to name the certificate and choose where it applies:

Select Save to confirm.

A certificate only appears for learners once certification is turned on in that Beeline's Settings in Build Mode — so remember to enable it there.
