Welcome to the guide on using AI Build Mode!
This feature allows you to generate a full course directly inside the Beeline platform using AI. Instead of creating an outline externally, writing lesson content separately, and then building manually, AI Build Mode integrates the entire process into one guided workflow — helping you move from idea to draft course faster.
📋 Before You Begin
Before jumping into AI Build Mode, it's worth spending some time on planning. Keep your audience in mind and think about how you'd like to convey the information to your learners. Having a clear business outcome and learning outcomes will ensure your training is meaningful and targeted.
We recommend gathering the following before you start:
- Your storyboard or planning document
- All source material (slide decks, documents, transcripts, videos, or external links)
💡 Remember: The more information and context you give the AI, the higher the quality of the output.

🛠️ How AI Build Mode Works
AI Build Mode follows a guided three-step process:
Step 1: Setup – Define the Training Profile
- Select Quick Actions
From your workspace, select the Quick Actions button and then choose AI Assisted Build. This will take you into Build Mode.
- Define Your Audience
Select from the pre-populated audience options, or write a custom audience for more specific targeting. Once created, your custom audience will be saved to your library for future use.
- Outline What Learners Should Achieve
Describe the business impact and what you'd like your learners to achieve by the end of the training. Be as detailed as possible.
- Describe the Training
Answer the question "What do they need to learn?" with as much context and detail as you can.
