In this article you'll add a certificate to a Beeline so learners earn one when they finish.

A certificate is a great way to recognise the learners who complete your Beeline (your course). You set it up in the Beeline's Settings in Build Mode — turn on certification, choose which certificate to award, and decide whether it expires. Remember to Save when you're done.

How to add a certificate to your Beeline

  1. In Build Mode, open Settings using the gear icon at the bottom of the left sidebar.
  2. Scroll to the Certificates section.
  3. Turn on Issue certificate on completion to award a certificate to every learner who finishes the Beeline.
  4. Choose which certificate to award:
  5. Select Save to apply your changes.

Pro tip: If you see No workspace default certificate configured, either ask your admin to set a workspace default or pick Create custom certificate for this Beeline — that option sits just below in the same Certificates section.

Set an expiry and renewal

If the certificate should only stay valid for a set period, add an expiry.

  1. In the Expiration & Renewal section, turn on Certificate expires.
  2. In Expires after (days), enter how long the certificate stays valid. The default is 365 days.
