- Once loaded, you’ll see details about the video appear on the screen.
Step 3: Choose the Output Format ▶️
- Go to the Summary tab:
- Set Format to MP4.
- Tick Web Optimized to ensure better playback compatibility.
Step 4: Adjust Video Settings for Compression ⚙️
- Go to the Video tab and use these settings:
- Video Encoder: Set to H.264 (x264) for a good balance of compatibility and compression.
- Framerate (FPS):
- Use "Same as Source" or set it to 30 FPS.
- Tick Constant Framerate to avoid playback issues.
- Quality:
- Use the RF slider (Constant Quality) to balance file size and quality:
- 20–23 is ideal for maintaining quality with smaller file sizes.
- Lower RF (e.g., 18) = Better quality, larger size.
- Higher RF (e.g., 25) = Smaller size, reduced quality.
