Create your first library

Create a library to group Beelines and Cells your people can explore at their own pace.

A library is a repository of Beelines and Cells that learners browse on their own, rather than working through an assigned path. You can build different libraries for different groups, then give each group access to the ones they need. Creating the library is the first step — you'll add content and grant access afterwards.

How to create a library

  1. Open the Content page. In the Admin menu, select Content.
  2. Go to the Libraries tab. At the top of the page, switch to Libraries.
  3. Click Create Library. If you don't have any libraries yet, click Add Library instead. Either one opens the Create New Internal Library modal.
  4. Enter a name for the library. Choose a name that's easy to recognise in a list.
  5. Add a description (optional). A short line on what the library is for.
  6. Click Create Library & Add Content. Your new library now appears in the Libraries list, ready for content.

Add content to your library

A new library starts empty. To fill it, find the library in the Libraries list and open its actions menu (), then:

  1. Select Manage content.
  2. Use the Beelines and Cells tabs to switch between content types.
  3. Open the Add beelines to this library dropdown (or Add cells) and choose what to include.
  4. Click Save.
